InspirationÂ
As I mentioned before, I love the Thinline Telecaster concept. I often recreate it in a totally improved and updated version for the modern high performance player in the Zachary manner, with all the Zachary features. In many ways this is the dream guitar. It has all the characteristics to make it very special. It is under 5 lbs in overall weight, coming in at 4.9 lbs. That is half the weight of most Les Pauls. The scale length is short, identical to Vintage Gibson. It has 24 Stainless Steel frets. The pickups are pure warmth and are less harsh than other Tele pickups. Its a joy to play clean in a Jazzy mood using the GF90 neck pickup and hearing also the effect the semi-hollow body has on the tone.Â
