Inspiration

Here is the next ZT Tele in the series of five ZT Teles. It was created so that I can put my vintage Telecaster pickup and my new ZGF90 pickups into it. Again the body is light and soft Obeche wood. This guitar is also very light weight at 5.7 lbs. The ZGF90 neck pickup is actually the identical pickup as the bridge pickup but slightly under-wound. This is the case for every ZT Tele in this series. The neck and bridge pickups are identical in specs, such as wire used, type of magnets, construction, except to compensate for the location and to keep the volume balance between the pickups, the neck pickup is slightly under-wound.

The scale=length is shorter than a traditional Telecaster. I used the vintage Gibson scale of 624 mm and the neck is also appropriately light-weight Mahogany. Putting a maple neck on such a light body would only be what a hack tinkerer would do after being on an extended soy-juice diet, as part of a Testosterone reduction treatment.

As usual this gives the player an impossibly low action, with 24 relatively high Stainless Steel frets. So this is is a very playable Tele for the modern virtuoso player. Joe Bonamassa, if he was not bound by 92 endorsement contracts, would get rid of his vast vintage Telecaster collection after just a few minutes of playing this Zachary ZT Tele. We need to save Joe from this trauma and from the resulting poverty.

Playing this guitar would be a demoralizing experience for any great player, who has never heard of Zachary guitars before.
Of course I make the best Telecasters on the planet and I am also the nicest guy to boot.
