Inspiration

This guitar was made to utilize my new ZS pickups in their finalized form. These are the same as the prototypes but just a bit shorter in length and now laser cut and engraved. Here we have a Telecaster Thinline but with the equivalent of vintage spec Strat pickups and 6-way rotary switching. This also gives the player the missing pickup combination (neck+bridge), which is not available from the traditional 5-way Strat switch.

The other unique thing about this guitar is my use of a new finish. I had only used it once before. Its Shellac, the same stuff used on Violins traditionally. It takes an acquire skill to apply it using a technique called French Polishing. This requires time and work to apply and smooth out. Don't spill any alcohol on it because Shellac is dissolved with Alcohol. This is not the ideal finish for rock stars or anyone who parties like a rock star. You don't want to spill your adult beverage on it. Shellac does give the guitar an organic old-world feel, which Zachary guitars were always known for but now this even feels like a violin. The neck is also Shellac finished.

If you are a plastic guitar enthusiast and shred mindlessly and robotically on a sterile object, then this is not the instrument for you. People only know and accept what they are fed by authority in terms of information. This goes for everything in life. The lack of knowledge, education and culture, creates and maintains an arrested development, which results in masses of Morons, who are easily controlled and manipulated. Pearls among swine, don't do very well, they can never be recognized or appreciated.Â
