InspirationÂ
This Tele was made along the lines of the preceding instrument. I am testing pickup specifications. This also gave me a chance to do a metal flake, slightly sparkle finish for the first time. I like the look of the vintage sparkle relic guitars. I try to make these solid body Telecaster-style guitars as light as possible. Okoume wood for the body is a good choice its light and soft. This is actually a one pice body, which is always special.
It has a Fender traditional 25.5 scale neck, half-bridge, prototype pickguard, lightweight aluminum knobs, simple controls, vintage-style tuners and the weight comes in at only 6.9 lbs.
Again, the purpose is to create an updated and much superior Telecaster on every level. If you are a competent player, compare this to the best Tele you have ever played or own.
