Inspiration

To follow the previous Zachary guitar #209, it was logical to build virtually the same single pickup guitar but with a traditional Telecaster bridge pickup. Here is a Fender-chime version with the same Obeche body, Mahogany neck, and vintage Gibson-scale fingerboard. While the previous #209 was Vintage Gold with Nickel hardware, this had to be Vintage Silver, with Gold hardware. They are quite the matching pair.  The same guitar but with different pickup, which changes the tone of the guitar.
I hope it is noticed that the volume knob is placed precisely in the best location for constant access while playing, to dial in just the appropriate amount of gain of the pickup and for volume swells. The Zachary Hand Wound pickup is the correct specification for a pre-55, early 50s Blackguard Telecaster pickup. It has Brass compensated bridge saddles.
This guitar is again a featherweight at only 5 ¾  lbs.Â
