Inspiration
A few decades ago I saw in a guitar magazine the guitar collection of a famous rock star and in that collection he had a yellow vintage Strat. I loved the look of it. Yellow vintage Strats are quite rare. The image had stuck with me ever since and when picking a color, I really wanted to make a Yellow Strat of my own, inspired by the one I saw. This time I wanted to use these steel screw-pole Strat pickups, which are a cross between a traditional Strat pickups and P90 pickups. It worked out really well for a gutsy Strat. I love playing it.
